SPM Instrument operates in a high tech environment and therefore believes it is paramount that the company’s own technology infrastructure is as current and efficient as possible. As an existing CRM user, the company saw no reason in being left behind when the latest version became available as it offered enhancements that would help the business.

SPM Instrument chose to work in partnership with avrion because they needed a competent partner that would proactively assist them in developing its CRM solution in both a technical and advisory capacity. “Our previous CRM provider was nowhere near as technically competent as avrion has proven to be. Avrion are the only one that could take the development of our CRM solution this far” explained Stan Jackson, Managing Director, SPM Instrument. To support the growth of the business, more users needed to access the system and therefore a technical upgrade was recommended to support the immediate and future requirement growth of SPM Instrument in terms of both functionality and scalability.

Maximising all opportunities

SPM Instrument also needed better reporting features. As a subsidiary company of a Swedish organisation operating in 65 countries, SPM Instrument needs to provide forecasting and production information quickly to the management team in Sweden. Previously, asking the sales team to provide forecasts was time consuming but now information can be updated on an ongoing basis and reports automatically created.

In addition, the CRM Executive Dashboard immediately provides SPM Instrument with a summary of all live opportunities in the sales pipeline, which makes it easier for the company to manage long term relationships with clients and ultimately increase revenue.
