Maximizer Software receives the firm’s highest available score for “Time to Value”

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – May 1, 2007 – Maximizer Software (TSX: MAX), the world’s leading provider of affordable and easy-to-use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software applications, today announced that Maximizer Enterprise has been named a ‘Strong Performer’ in Forrester Research’s sales force automation vendor evaluation. According to the research report, Maximizer Enterprise received Forrester’s highest available score for ‘Time to Value’ – or the length of time it takes firms to get the product into production and in the hands of business users.

Having evaluated the top 19 providers of sales force automation technologies, Forrester named Maximizer Software a ‘Strong Performer’. The research firm also gave Maximizer a 5 out of 5 for ‘Time to Value’ – or the length of time it takes companies to deploy Maximizer Enterprise and make it available to business users. Of the 19 vendors evaluated, Maximizer Software earned the top score for the size of its customer base.

According to Forrester CRM Analyst Liz Herbert, “Firms of all company sizes continue to invest in SFA, with 31% of large enterprises and 27% of SMBs planning investments in 2007. Additionally, the 54% of the SMB segment and 22% of the large enterprise segment that remain unpenetrated offer potential for future spending as firms continue to emphasise driving productivity and improving customer experiences.”(The Forrester Wave: Sales Force Automation, Q2 2007, Forrester Research, Inc., April, 2007.)

Focused on simplifying the lives of sales leaders and their teams in the largely under-penetrated small and medium-sized business segment, Maximizer Software offers the only sales force automation system that provides a fast deployment, low up-front costs and the benefit of not having the large, ongoing costs necessary with software delivered as a service. Sales managers can also drive user adoption and extend the value of their SFA system by offering their teams mobile access to Maximizer Enterprise on any leading wireless platform including Research In Motion BlackBerry, Palm and both PDAs and Smartphones using the popular Microsoft Windows Mobile operating system. For Microsoft Vista users, Maximizer is the first to develop CRM Gadgets which allow sales people to dive into their customer information without opening their sales system -directly from the Vista desktop.

According to Vivek Thomas, Managing Director EMEA, Maximizer Software, “Regardless of the size of their organisation, sales leaders are looking for a system that delivers three essential SFA ingredients: tools their team needs now, very minimal involvement from IT and a price point that lets them avoid corporate hurdles and get started right away. There is no sales system that offers a better combination of ease-of-use, simple administration and very low total cost of ownership than Maximizer Enterprise and it is for that reason that a large proportion of sales leaders are asking about Maximizer.”
